TΩNING TΞMPLE: Bodhisattva Journey
Sunday 5/3, 2026, 1:30-3:30P
$55
An immersive exploration of Buddhist philosophy and sacred sound as medicine.
Drawing inspiration from Buddhist temple traditions of Southeast Asia and ancient Greek healing practices, this experience weaves Eastern and Western lineages into one unified ritual space. In this ceremonial gathering, we awaken the compassionate Bodhisattva within - the part of us devoted to loving truth and collective healing. Through breath, voice, and group chanting, sound becomes a portal for transformation.
Together, we’ll learn foundational breathing and vocal techniques, engage in group chanting (including Sanskrit mantras practiced in Laos), and integrate with a restorative sound bath. This ceremony invites both offering and receiving sound as a form of prayer, connection, and community healing.
All are welcome. No prior experience needed.
What to Bring:
Comfortable layered clothing, journal, water, and a mug (tea will be provided).
Optional: eye mask or small altar offering to charge in the space during ceremony.
Facilitated by Maria Cataland
